Video activity!

In this activity you are going to listen to a doctor who is living in Syria, she belongs to “Doctors Without Borders” organization.

a- Watch the video and take notes.

b- Watch the video one more time, listen to what the doctor says and answer these questions and complete when necessary.  (Read the questions before watching and listening)

1- What does she say about…

 1a- her feelings when she came to Syria?

 1b- her family and friends and her decision to go to Syria?

 1c- Syria and its needs as a community?

2- Did she make friends there?

3- How were the people there with her?

4- Her family and friends are proud and ____________ .

5- Can they think about a solution during the war?

6- Is it easy during the war for new doctors to go and work there?

7- What happened with the infrastructure of hospitals?

8- Would it be easy to “restart” (medically speaking)?

c- Opinion. Answer these questions orally and record your answers using vocaroo.com  

1- What do you think about the current situation that people are living in Syria?

2- What do you think about the people who are not from Syria but people who are living there helping others?

3- Do you think this war will end soon?
